I want send my dog at Dogs on Board. What do I do?
Step 1: Make appointment for temperament test, preferably 1 month in advance.
Step 2: Bring your dog to the temperament test.
Step 3: Upon passing the temperament test, fill in the registration form in the website. We will reply the registration to confirm the booking.
Step 4: A few days before boarding, we will confirm the check-in time.
What happens at the temperament test?
The temperament test takes about 30 minutes. We will introduce dogs to your dog to see how they react. We look out for aggression, stress and undesirable behaviours (e.g. marking and humping). Unfortunately, we do reject dogs if they do not have good social etiquette as we try to keep the environment happy and clean. Once your dog pass the temperament test, we will brief you on the routines and discuss on their needs.
What is your check-in and check-out timings?
Our check-in and check-out timings are between 11am and 5pm. If you have special timing requests, please check with us.
What do I need to prepare for my dogs prior?
Please make sure annual vaccination, kennel cough vaccination, tick preventives are up to date.
For dogs above 8 years old, please check with your vet if they are fit for boarding.
Do you provide food?
No. Some dogs are sensitive to change of food and we do not want to risk them having diarrhea while they are under our care.
Will there be someone around at all time?
What happens in case of emergencies?
First, we check with you whether you would like us to send to the vet. If you are not contactable, we will use our discretion. If you have a preferred vet, please let us know in advance. Please note that vet bills will be borne by the owner, unless it’s due to our negligence.
